Maximising the potential of industrial flexibility and supporting the competitiveness of Belgian industry

On 16 December 2025, Abhimanyu Kaushal and Brecht Ruttens presented GALILEO project at the "Electrification in Industry" workshop organized within IETS Task XIX: Subtask-3. The presentation introduced GALILEO’s work on unlocking industrial flexibility and explored how flexible industrial processes can participate in electricity markets and contribute to a more efficient and resilient energy system.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to share the project’s approach and exchange perspectives with experts working on industrial electrification, flexibility, and the energy transition.
